In 1953 was the year that witness not only the birth of the Portuguese Roots Chair but also the Portuguese Roots Table. A table that gain the status of a design icon by its own merit. Today, AROUNDtheTREE revives this model in solid wood.

The Portuguese ROOTS table is a table inspired by the original design of the 1950’s metal terrace table. The tripod applied to the square top was introduced in order to overcome the slope problems of the traditional Portuguese cobblestone sidewalks. So, no floor will ever be too uneven for this table.
